Top Dressing Established Lawns
It is suggested that the
application of Bio-Flex®
as a top dressing on established lawns is
done in conjunction with core aerification, however, straight
applications of Bio-Flex have proven to be beneficial. The aerification
and application of Bio-Flex may be done in either the fall or spring of
the year. Following aerification, it is recommended that Bio-Flex be
applied at a rate of five (5) pounds per 100 square feet. Adequate water
should be applied for several days following application.

Using Bio-Flex® at Time of
Establishment
When using Bio-Flex at the time
of establishment, it is suggested that it be applied following the
placing of topsoil over the subgrade. The recommended rate for the
application of Bio-Flex is ten (10) pounds per 100 square feet. The
Bio-Flex should be tilled into the topsoil along with your selected
fertilizer. The tilling will also help break up any larger pieces of
soil that may interfere with establishment. Following seeding, the newly
seeded areas should be kept moist through regular irrigation.
